This Sucks! I can't believe it even though I know it is true. Cody's is Closing! That's right. The Book Store on Telegraph in July. Who wants to take a trip to Berkeley soon! Let me know.

I am just so frustrated with this. I understand it is easier to get stuff on the net, but this is killing me. I used to hang out here in high school and college when I was in town and found so much stuff here as an adult! And now it is closing!!!!! UGH!

I heard this on the news this morning, too. So sad. When I lived in BART-able range I used to go there all the time. I do a great deal of shopping online, but there's nothing like browsing through the stacks to inspire me for more reading material. The brick & mortar stores still get tons of money out of me that way. I'm much less likely to pick up something "on a whim" on Amazon.

Thank goodness for Moe's, but losing Cody's is a darn shame.
