Life as it is going so far....

So.. let's see...

Dickens ended with a power outage! It was out for two and a half hours! It would have been fun to do Dickens by candle light, but it was not possible. Could have been a lawsuit waiting to happen! My folks had a nice time once the power came back on. My windows went well! Laurie and I did the sun and the Moon and I did Snow White. Fun! I ended up not going to Gaskell's as I was so tired by that Sat. night. I came home and crawled into the bath tub and soaked for a hour! It was nice to have some down time.

Then let's see...I saw Aga-Boom with my folks, Kelly, and Drew. It was terrific! I laughed a bunch. My mother made a comment on that... so silly! Before we went and had a drink at a dive my sister knew, The High Tide! Oh good lord! Then after we went to a dive mexican place in the mission. The food was awesome, the surroundings not so much... Love my sister, she is such a bohemian! I am too suburban for my folks here and to urban for my folks in NJ. It cracks me up! http://www.agaboom.com/ is the web site for the show! It was great.

Christmas was nice. My sister and mom made Thai food for dinner. We had all kinds of stuff I liked and it was great to see my folks. I got some cool stuff, movies, perfume, and a gift certificate to a clothing store I like. My folks appeared to like their gifts. And so did my sister. It was a quiet evening even though my brother didn't come out. We missed him, but he did call. Then I went to Drew's folks place and said hi to them then came home to try to stay up to take Luth to the airport. I fell asleep around 3am and said wake me up to go. Turns out Luth got a ride from Robert.(Thanks Robert!) So one week without Luth.:( Oh well, may be I can get stuff unpacked and organized. Yeah right.....

So just because... I got to talk to an old friend. He is doing well and going to graduate from Davis in 81 days(but who's counting?) :) It was nice to hear he is well. And he has a cat! Janus! Very cute cat, I might add.(Saw pictures!) It was nice and I have missed him and his take on life.

So now I am off to get some dinner I hope. Pizza! It will be a quiet week and then next week I start the new job! I can't wait. Looking forward to it. okay off I go.. hugs all.
