Today was really fun.
I got out of bed because I had to throw up. I'm really sick. I mean REALLY sick.

I feel good because today I getting my lip pierced! Finally! Mom said I could and she's signed the forms and EVERYTHING!

I'm so sad. My kitten got run over this afternoon. I found him when I was coming home from school. His head was all squished. I took some photos. I'll miss him. Poor kitty.

Last night I had to go and pay Joshua's bail. He's such a jerk. He got arrested for punching the Walmart clerk in the face for refusing to sell him beer. He's only 16!

I want to tell the world that I love you all! You're all so special to me!

I am updating this journal for the first time in ages, because I've been in prison.

Today, I got a digital camera! Yes! But I don't know how to work it. Can you help me?

I want to say thanks to simon and Abbey and Dave and the other Simon for helping me on Saturday. You guys are the best. By the way, if you happen to find my wallet, keys or underwear, could you SMS me? Adrian has my number.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have bipolar disorder, just like my best friend Sally.

The Six of Chalices card suggests that my power today lies in self-consciousness. I am not alone. It's not too late to make a fresh start or to pursue my hearts desire. And that is a great way to describe the day. I went to Pagan Pride day with Tarot-To-Go today and The man. We set up the pavillion and he went off to do his thing(GOB and Comic relief as well as go draw) and I got the booth rolling and we did a total of 32 reading between 5 readers! Pretty great considering it was a very small event as it almost didn't happen! The city had the park at MLK ave and Milian closed off and almost didn't allow it to happen but it went on! We did it as a street fair. There was not to many venders, but there were plenty of Pagans! We gave out flyers about our coming event as well and give away tickets to it during the raffle.(What event? You may be wondering... ( World Tarot Day may 26, 2007 )

But I digress...

Today was great and of course I got to causally chat up my not-so-secret crush, Uncledark, who was promoting The Ancient Way Feastival(http://www.ancientways.com/node/14). And as always dreamy and sweet and super smart!(When I had the courage to chat with him and not feel super foolish, it was informative and entertaining... *blush*)The Man just pointed out "It is okay ... I could take him and Doogie Howier" Now that is a sight... Uncledark and Doogie... hmmm not so yummy as The Man and Uncledark at once ... *blush* uhm... stopping now! *kisses to you both*

Saw a ton of people too! Sami406 and jmdg, James, UncleDark and his lady, Glenn Turner, and so many more I just can't recall. It was great. It is nice to see all these happy Pagans celebrating what they believe and not having to hide what and who they are. And to be honest it is just nice to see smiling people who are excepting of different beliefs and NOT stopping ANY ONE(Including Christians ) for talking together. Nice to live here on the "Left" Coast some times.

Well I am off to bed to sleep and then go to The Man's folks for Mother's Day. My mom is visiting my grandma in Niagara Falls but they both got cards so...Phone calls tomorrow!

Barbara Walters, of Television's 20/20, did a story on gender roles in Kabul, Afghanistan, several years before the Afghan conflict.

She noted that women customarily walked 5 paces behind their husbands.

She recently returned to Kabul and observed that women still walk behind their husbands.

From Miss Walter's vantage point, despite the overthrow of the oppressive Taliban regime, the women now seem to walk even further back behind their husbands and are happy to maintain the old custom.

Miss Walters approached one of the Afghani women and asked, "Why do you now seem happy with the old custom that you once tried so desperately to change?"

The woman looked Miss Walters straight in the eyes and -- without hesitation -- said:

Fact of the Day: Magic 8-Ball
The Magic 8-Ball, invented in 1946 by Abe Bookman of the Alabe Toy Company, is a novelty version of the crystal ball. It is a hard black plastic sphere, the size of a small grapefruit, which reveals answers to life's most perplexing issues when it is turned upside-down. The answers are on a white plastic die made in the shape of an icosahedron and floating in a blue liquid. Of the twenty possible answers, ten are positive, five negative, and five neutral. The name of the novelty comes from its resemblance to the ball used in pool and billiards.

I loved these and nowadays they have the Magig Date Ball and the Sponge Bob Magic 8 Ball(It is Yellow and Has SB face on it with SB sayings). They are still for to play with to this day!

So Last night was the party of the year! The Annual Cocktails at Bill and Christina's! There was dressing up, champagne, chai martinis, fondue and chocolate fondue fountains as well as wonderful conversation and friends! Every one looks lovely dressed to the nines and engaging in in conversations from theoretical physics to WOW and everything in between! It one the of events I look forward to every year and this year was no exception!
I got all gussied up and had Erica the Wonder Hair Dresser fix my tresses and put on the long black velvet dress and heels and off I went with The Man in a pinstriped jacket and pants and his snazzy purple shirt! We even got a lovely parking space! And I got to chat up Lila, Roo,Rowan, Martin, Kendra, Leslie, Brian, Liana, Rick, Mark, Nancy, Nick and Thea, Ed and Camie and Ed and Shaunie(sp),Tiffany and Pax, as well as Perry, Adam, Ray, Tom, Dana, Puppy, Alicia, and Scott! I know there were more but my brain is wracked as to all of the lovely ladies and gentles that just kept the evening moving! (Please forgive if I did forget to mention you!) It was wondrous and as usual THE Event Of The year and a perfect top to gearing up to Christmas. We went home at 1:30 AM and I was in bed by 2:30.
Then it was up today to head to Dickens where I did try to sing.(Not shooting me any of you!) I did opening in Fezzies but couldn't sing higher than bass and I am a second soprano! OWWW. But I did see my lovely lady friends and we did have tea! And 3 of them fell to the loveliness of the rings and got wonderful christmas gifts for themselves. Their fingers will be the envy of all who set eyes on them!(I know I am!)And Anthony and Margee also came today, but I was so busy I didn't get to spend as much time with them as I would have liked to! I had never seen the Naughty French Postcards show until today. It was very well done, but I realized what was meant by Banana Sling! WOW. And I also wanted to go back to Florence and see the Birth of Venus again.

I got home and The Man had a wonderful surprise for me. He had painted my lovely lady on her pumpkin and gotten a new vacuum! And for himself he got a ... NEW TV! Wow is all I could say! It is so pretty. Now I can watch Randell Graves and his version of the Lord of the Rings in 32" of LCD Beauty! It is astounding!

Okay I need to sleep as I am not making it to Dickens tomorrow so I can make it next Sat. So it is off to cuddle and sleep.
