Thanksgiving....
Nov. 22nd, 2001 11:48 pmI guess this is supposed to be a holiday where you spend time with your family and are thankful for what you have. I am feeling lost. I came to see my father and his family and as usual I am missing my "family" back at Draggin' Bytes and Livermore.
Also, I saw Ground Zero in NYC. There are still fires burning and the smell is still in my mind even though it has been 2 days. I just want to forget but I know I can't. It is wrong to forget. I can't help seeing in my mind's eye the building in Berlin that was left standing to remind Germans of WWII and how overwhelmed that felt. This is worse. This is 2001 and it is my country. I know America isn't always the best at decision making but it is better than other countries! I just can't understand how some one can hate so much.
