Silly Quizzes and an update...

So well friday night went to Dave and Buster's with Brad, Monika, Jimmy, Perry, Bill, Christina,Jeff, Jeebus and Heather. We had a nice dinner and played a bunch of games! Jimmy had never been there so I hope he had a good time. We saw 10 police cars chasing a small Escort on 580 on the way home. It was kinda crazy! 10! I wonder what that guy thought he was doing.
Saturday I got the almost last load from the old place. Then I went and hung out with Booda. He is doing okay. We had fun and just chatted and it was cool. Then I went home and changed and went to Rick and Liana's B-day party. It was okay, but a little too crowded and hot. I left early because I just felt uncomfortable and hot. Too many people, too small of a space. I realized that at other parties, I often go and hid for a bit when I feel overwhelmed, but there was no where to go really. Some one asked me "You do faire and you are feeling overwhelmed(okay so I am paraphrasing Bull),and I realized that I am one of the first to go to bed at night and I don't do it for the partying. I do faire because I like the history and sharing that, as well as doing gigs. I am not the greatest at gigs, but I do try.
So then Sunday I had a Pantheacon meeting and had to get my department head there so we went. It was good to go. I also found out that this year's tarot sympossium is on OCt 23! I can go! Yeah!!! Then it was off to dinner with Perry and Robert at Todai. Sunday was moving all the stuff out of the storage space and hanging out with Robert. We had fun. He is a nice guy. I have to see about a gig with those boots of his... any ideas out there?

I also saw Laura today and she had somesuggestions about my old faire garb as well as ideas for Dickens stuff. I hope to do Dickens this year. I want to sing with the carolers if I can or I guess if Erik will let me, I will work at the Green Man. Even thought there is a little part of me that would like to work in Mad Sal's. Well we will see what is available.
Right now I am unpacking and typing here about this weekend, and listening to Good Will Hunting. It reminds me of 'Lil Bear. He and Will have a lot in common. Any way... they just do.
So I need to get ready for the first day of school tomorrow. I am ready but I am not sure the kids are ready. So I am off to finish unpacking and getting ready for next weekend which is Sonora Faire! The World Class Jousting Tournament! It should be fun. Bill might be riding which would be cool to watch. He actually just does the games, not the full on joust, I don't think. I will have to ask him. Any who.. Have a nice night all.
