rosered32: (Me and Little G.)
1. Looking back on when you were time married, what did you learn from the experience?

I am assuming you are referring to the last 5 years verses when I was actually married... but I will answer for both instances:
Actual marriage: Chose some one who has interests similar to yours, love with all your heart and listen more to your gut. Also chose a reader and someone who let you go to book stores for hours on end! Also some one who let you explore being you. Pick some one who is passionate about life!(And I did those more than one may believe.)
Last 5 years: Never believe the worst, BUT if you hear it more than once, start believing it! If he loves you, he will stand up for you even if you are wrong. I am NOT Obtuse! Emotional abuse is not an imagined thing. Don't be a doormat even after the relationship is over. She is not really my friend, she is just trying to spend more time with my boyfriend!(There was more than one and it wasn't all their fault!) When I think it is time to move on, don't let my family remind me of how much I loved him, they don't have to live my life(This goes for both relationships!)

2. Where do you see yourself going over the next five years, what do you hope to be doing (both personally as well as professionally by 2010).
I really don't know. I am still trying to decide that. I had plans until Dec of 2003 and they got blown up so I am just living life as it comes for now and trying to have fun and do some things I have wanted to try, but was to busy to try. I am spending more time on me and so I will have to see. I am "kinda floating" to quote Snoopy and I kinda like it right now.

3. What primary life lessons did you learn from your mother? your father?
MOM- Well that a woman can be anything and doesn't have to conform to societal norms(Then she turned around and said"You need to think about what others will think!") I have learned to appreciate my life and know that my choices are just that, MINE.
DAD- Okay well my dad who raised me taught me to love history and seeing the world. Through his job I have been to 3 continents(counting the USA), have seen the world, and know that there is more out there than my backyard.
My Bio-Dad has taught me in the last 10+ year I have known him, that family is important to know where you have come from, but not so important that they get to hurt you as they wish.

4. Given three wishes (with the caviat that you can't wish for more wishes or vehicles which would result in the effect of getting more wishes) what would you ask for (presuming the granter wasn't going to do the twist the words trick)
1.I would like to go back to Europe and live for a few years(all expenses covered) and explore it as an adult.
2.I would like all of my friends to find the happiness and health they seek.
3.I would like to make a difference in my world.

5. What do you wish people knew about you, but they never take the time to ask/find out?
That even if you may hate me or dislike me, I don't lie to you if I have information I think you can use. If I know you may need something I have that won't be hard on me to share, I will, even if you aren't fond of me. I don't have time to hate people. Dislike them, may be, but then I just try to spend as little time as possible around them. I am a much happier person that way. But I will never give a person "bad" info to mess up their lives. It is just a waste to me.

1. So I know you really like children, (considering you work with them an all) what exactly was it that got you interested int working with children?
Well I was good at it. I helped out at my brother's school while I was in Junior College then when I came back to Oakland in 1995, I went and got hired back at his old school. Kids have a view on life that is so refreshing and makes me appreciate what I have and where I have come from. I learn from them every day.
2. Out of the places you haven't visited in the world, where would you like to go and why?
I would like to go to Japan or China. I would like to see a place that is older than most of the European studies I have done and seen. I would like to see the Cherry Blossoms in Japan and the Great Wall of China.
3. If you were to write a book about your life what would the title be?
She Saw The World and It Changed Her Forever
4. What's the nicest thing you can remember someone doing for you?
My sister wrote a story for me to make me remember my lost love and ended it with a happy ending verses the reality it was(He died) and recently someone gave me permission to make a hard decision that will not make me a popular person, but will make me feel safe.
5. What inspires you, and what are you normally inspired to do?
Children inspire me to do the best I can to make my life mean something. I am inspired to be a better person every day.(That sounds so cheesy, but I can only be the best me I can be and work to always improve that. Everything else is relative.)

So I am here working on guild stuff and cleaning up around here, I am listening to CMT in the background and I really like it. Not really surprised, but still. And right now my favorite is these two so I will share the lyrics:
