Okay.. well this was a pretty great weekend. I had fun, hung out and just enjoyed some quiet time with friends. I went out to D and J Hobby, got some goodies for a friend, had dinner with one of my gang of friends, chatted about life, and just had a nice weekend before going back to work. I can say it went very well and I am glad for it. And board games are kick a** especially when everyone is really into learning a new one! And steak is yummy!
Okay so yesterday was Tarot "class" with Douglas, Kathy, and Denise. We also had Drew watching for info so he could add a more informed aspect to his game. He wants to add a Tarot like aspect to his rpg he has been working on for well at least 5-6 years. I am glad he came. I think he and Douglas will be able to work on his ideas and Douglas just loved him. I mean Drew had comics, a laptop and a Mage deck. Douglas was in high heaven. And I think they will be able to converse about this with out having to have any one bother them. Again I am glad I could give a hand to my friend. I hope he knows that NOTHING is expected of him. Other than honest questions to answer his curiosities. I am sure it is no big deal. Ah well... moving on...
SO work has been crazy. It is like this the first few weeks. All the new kids and trying to come to school for the first time and deal with a teacher who doesn't speak their language and they know her's but can't talk to her. (Yeah I need to learn Spanish I guess.... But I am there as I DON'T speak it! So the kids have to practice.) It will be a long but great year from what I can tell.
