Landing a spot in the ensemble for Lunch, which only has room for eight people, was the pinnacle of your performing career. Sadly, the director was forced to cut you at the last minute because you kept tripping over your own feet. A precocious eighth-grader was given your part, and managed to receive a standing ovation on opening night through genius-level delivery of his or her (very few) lines. You've never lived it down.
