This has been a busy weekend and week.

All week I have been working partially at my family advocate job and partially as a substitute teacher in one of the classrooms.

So On St. Patrick's Day my company had it's 7th Annual Multi-Cultural Day Festival. The schools made table displays and foods from different countries. HOWEVER, no one made corned beef and cabbage! I am not at a school so I didn't cook it or I would have! I did however volunteer to wear my Italian Ren dress for the Mutli-Cultural Fashion Show. It was fun. I also was the MC and music coordinator for the event this time. We had the Teen Mothers there for the first time ever. It was cool. ANd one of the girls hugged me after for encouraging them to come. The families had fun and we did have a good turn out.

Then Friday night was game night. Jules made a wonderful dinner and we played SuperMunchkin! It was fun and then after it was cuddles and sleeping!

Sat. was get up and head to Richmond to have a guild meeting. I had fun doing our skit and such and as always it was nice to see every one. I am looking forward to Visaila and food prep. It will be a blast. I need to get the things together for the new dress but I will not be able to do that for a few pay checks I think. I have the pretty fabric, but I am going to NJ so I need to save up for that. I am looking forward to making the new dress however. It will be my first velvet one. Gray wit silver pretty fabric and burgundy and grey trim. And a wonderful brooch I received from seaweasel! She rocks.

Sat evening was rush home to get ready to go to the Living Tarot done by Magical Acts in Oakland. It was terrific. I had seen it last in 2000 at Panthea Con. This time it meant more as I saw it with my good friends who I do tarot study with. Also many of my Pagan friends were there, and I didn't recognize a few until they spoke! It was amazing to see how each actor interpreted their cards. I looked at each card a little differently because of this. I chose The Moon when I walked in and during the "reading" I chose the actual card for the group. It was so cool! A friend chose my birth card which made me giggle. And another friend's problem card spoke to her. It was just a wonderful experience. I highly recommend going to any performance this group does, but especially The Living Tarot. Also the Sun was great. She gave me a new way of looking at this card. I consider it my problem card. And now it isn't so much.

After the show we went to TRex in Berkeley for dinner. It was so tasty! I loved the brisket and the mac and cheese was amazing. And fun I see Seaweasel there. It was just odd, but very cool! Small world syndrome!

Today is all about being lazy. I looked at pictures online, read LJ finally, and talked to a friend from work. Also watched ShinesMen Anime(very silly! Thank you Dragoness!) and then Pirates of Penzance! Again Thanks Seaweasel! And Luth comes home today. Games will be here next week. Ah well... no it is okay. I like having them around. They make me giggle and smile at what is coming next in the world.

Thank you for coming!

I said early on, and forgot until this morning, that I was very much doing an Innyard Sun (If you're not having fun, you aren't doing it right).
I had no idea that was a problem card for you. DO you want to talk more?

We can chat on this if you like. We know how everyone has a problem card or two(Like the Tower or the Devil, both of which don't bother me!) Mine is The Sun. Every time I see it I think of Mordred from Excalibure the movie from the 70's. Very shiny but a bastard! It hids the negative while blinding us with its warm light. What is it hiding? That is how I usually see it. Thank you for reminding me of its playful and fun nature. And I just loved your exuberence! You always make me smile and I loved your hair! Thank you and tell J that his Moon was wonderful and I didn't know it was him until he spoke and I had to double check the program to be sure.
