What can I say? Valhalla ROCKED! It was a beautiful location, the guilds really tried to put on a great show, the vendors had lovely goods and the secruity team just rocked! Now mind you, the sales were low, but the vendors were happy! Everyone was just excited to have the "Old Valhalla" back. I missed the last few years, but I guess it was harder for the vendors and such. Everyone seemed okay tho'

There was drama as there always is with fair, but it was minimal which is great. And Adam is the best! He picked me up at my place Friday night and we drove up. We got in around 11 and then unloaded and went to sleep thanks to Rellie and her tent and trailer! Then up at 6 30 to do check in! Then off to morning Notes only to have my charge(Marti) have to spend most of her day with the the fire marshal! 7 hours! Yeah we almost didn't open! But by the Grace of Her Highness, the Princessa, we got to have the fair!(Marti is the best!) Court looked fabulous thanks to St. George's Guild and of course the Germans looked great leading the Queen's Progress into fair. And oh so much more. And Sat night dinner was at the Forrest Room Buffet to celebrate Adam's promotion! Very cool for him. Then off to bed and ignoring the Bears(Yes Bears!) roaming through site.( I slept through it, but others didn't!) Sunday was more of the same except I got to help out with other stuff and spoke to all the vendors and guilds. Like I said earlier, everyone was happy even if they weren't selling as much as they could have! Later that evening(oay 9 pm) Adam and I got showers thanks to the Bill and Marti and Perry, then on the road to home. It was a long weekend, but the fair did well. Next weekend will be that much better. If you have the time, come out! It is worth the drive to get a taste of Big Fair meets Small Fair to make a Great Show!
