New Report on Crisis Pregnancy Centers
This week, a congressional report proved that anti-choice "crisis pregnancy centers" have received $30 million of our tax dollars to tell patients that, among other things, suicide, breast cancer, and infertility are much more likely to occur following an abortion.
Thanks to this investigation by Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), we know exactly what they're telling women, because female investigators called, saying they were pregnant, and recorded their conversations.
Here is the link to the report.

I understand having strong beliefs. BUT it is not okay to tell women things that are not true! The only thing that may go up in women after abortion is suicide if you chose to have one for the wrong reasons. But then again if you are that unstable, you shouldn't be having sexual relations in the first place! And you sure as heck should not be having unprotected sex! And NO just because you get pregnant, does not immmediately mean the guy will marry you! This is 21st century! Men don't have to marry a woman they get pregnant and a woman doesn't have to get pregnant or stay pregnant if she truly doesn't chose too! HOWEVER the best policy is to not get pregnant in the first place. Birth control pills and such are available or more easily, NO GLOVE, No Love! USE A CONDOM! I can't say it enough. I know some men won't wear one, but then they don't need to have sex then do they? This is one of my pet peeves. I believe in choice, but I believe more in not getting pregnant so you don't have to make that choice. And yes I know some times things happen, but if both people involved are using a method of birth control, the changes are very slim that pregnancy will occur. Two methods are better than one which is better than none. *Sigh*
Thank you for letting me rant. Now back to your lives!
