WOW.. what a long weekend.
First was work work work all week. Then Friday was dinner with my Drew and then home to hang with the ladies. Thanks ladies, I needed that.
Sat was up early to do the TTG podcasts so that we could have all of Dec off. We did 3 in one day. Then I headed home to see how Drew was feeling. We were supposed to talk to Stacey about the wedding but Drew was not well and had home work.
He was working on his stuff when I got home. Then he reminded me we were having dinner with his folks. *face plant* I told him we were supposed to go to Nedrah's for the BBQ. Can't be two places at once. He parents trump friends so I am sorry to say we missed the Sat night fun. But we did visit with his folks and before we got there we had a long chat about what he is capable of and how it is okay to say "I may want to do_____, I just don't have the time. Can you please make it happen?" which is hard for him to do. Then we spoke to his folks about life and the wedding and I think they may have offered to help us get a house, but I am not sure... it was odd. I will give more info as I know it.
Today was supposed to be working at the Psychic Fair, but both Stacey and I needed a break. Also Drew had a midterm so he was stuck at home. This however freed me up to attend Heather and Sean's lovely wedding! Yay! I called up Michele and Shaun and ask if I could ride in with them and they sweetly said yes.(THANK YOU again!) We got there in time to get a shady spot and the wedding was beautiful. The bride's dress was hand made by Jezebel/Jen and the groom and his men were in Kilts. Also the brides' maids wore lavender dresses with green and lavender sashes and the maid of honor wore a green dress with lavender sashes. The bride and groom looked so happy. The food was good and it was cool to see so many people I don't get to see much any more. It made me miss Bytes. Any who the dancing was fun and it was just wonderful all around.
Then after I was dropped off at Darne's and Chris' for dinner with them and Drew. Drew had finished his mid-term and was cooking for the Langs. It was nice to have a quiet evening just chatting with both Chris and Darne as we don't get to do that very often. We also got to see Corbin before he went to bed. He is becoming such a little lady's man. He was all smiles and laughter. we ended the evening by watching Wall-E. I still like it even after the commentary by a friend about what she saw as negative in this film. Her points were valid but I don't think the film makers saw it as she did. I hope she wrote to Pixar. I think it is some thing to share....but I am going off on a tangent.
Now it is off to bed and getting up early tomorrow. Sleep time for Sally Rose and getting serious about what is left on this wedding in ... 3o-something days!!!!!
