So to day I stayed home as I was not feeling the best. But I had made plans to go to a movie tonight and since this friend is about as busy as I am, I went.
We met at his weekend job and I got the musical score to Wicked for free as it was on clearance or something(Yeah Me) and then we went to dinner. We had Italian at Pasta Primavera(sp) and it was okay. The conversation was nice and we chatted about our old students and just had fun. He is in a band with some of the parents from his job and they are playing on Sept 11. Kind of a daunting date to me, but I may go se him perform. Then we went to Best Buy to look around and hang out til the movie started. I found all kinds of movies which I didn't get. May be some day. Then we went to the theater. And as we sat down there was my guild mate, Heather M up on the screen in an ad for the Golden Gate Faire! Very Cool! She is so lovely!
Any way, Garden State was awesome. The story is kind of like a coming of age movie meets Lost In Translation. I really liked it. I felt like there could have been a little more into the girl's past, but other than that, I really liked it. You will just have to see it to get the plot line, but I vote for you all to go. I want to see it again as I know there are things I missed or would understand more if I saw it again, but I must say I love his shirt(it is in the commercials). WEll I need to go sleep now. so Good night Moon...Goodnight noises everywhere.
