So I took my singing final. I was prepared. I knew my song, then I got upi there and so F***** it up! No I am not kidding. She said she could tell I knew it and such, but I still felt awful. I needed to practice with The pianist more, but I survived. Of course the moment I go in the car I sang it acappella just fine included all the words and everything! AHHHHHH!

Oh well. So now it is off to pack and get ready to go to Oh to visit the folks. It also means not getting to do any thing but what they wanna do, so no seeing Ladyplatapus, not visiting my Cousin, nothing. Oh well I am sure they have some plans. Of course the last time we were there, my sister took me out and got me drunk. I don't think I need that again. No really!

Well off to pack.

Well, poop, about the final. Better luck next time? At least you proved it to yourself in the car, but yeah, messing it all up in public is a really sucky, personal, embarassing feeling- but I feel that not having enough time with the pianist is a legitimate reason to screw it up, and if you knew that you were prepared and the teacher could tell that you knew the song, everything should be fine.

In fact, if you need to practice with a pianist, and none is available at the school, you can always swing by my house and I'll help you rehearse your piece.

But enough of that! Now it's time to focus on Christmas with the folks. Joy to you in the season!

sorry it didn't go so well sally.... i so know how you feels thus why alicia doesn't sing alone in public anymore.... but i still do sing in the care to the amusement of drivers by on the road who cant hear me but can see me rocking out in my car
