Studying mankind is pretty much what I do, I watch people- most people don't notice im doing it, and I have a way being a part of groups i don't actually belong to. and as one of my professors says " I have this way of listening to people who I heartly disagree with - only focusing on the curiousity of why they do what they do.
I don't understand people, largely, so this is a field that gets me going.It also can be applied alot of different ways.
Most people still feel I should be an art major.lol

My family is here and it's hard to leave them. After my G/F moves here we'll probably move to someplace condusive to our long-term goals after a few years. We're making plans. But the nice thing about being a writer in this day and age is that you don't _have_ to be in New York to have a good career. Sadly, my acting career, on the other hand, will probably always be stymied because there you pretty much HAVE to live in NYC or LA.

Tigers are one of my favorite animals. I am honored to remind you of one! :D

Believe it or not, I got started because of Faire. Because of faire, I started sewing my own garb (remember the Blues?) and because of faire I took a mandatory drudge labor class in the costume shop and managed to somehow convince the costume mistress that I knew what I was doing, which led to me getting to take an advanced version of the same class. In the meantime I took a fantastic costume history class from a lady who currently costumes for Opera San Jose, and got hooked on the historical/political/anthropological aspects of costume study.
