Wow. What can I say? Fair Oaks was great! The guild rocked and I just had a blast with everyone. As a group we were always moving, having fun and just gigging like mad! Sure we had down time but not much.
It started for me with having Ren and Keshian show up at my place and we caravaned up to site. I miss Sacramento some times as it is where some big life changes happened for me. But any who, we got to site and checked in and said hello. We set up the tents and then visited with everyone for a bit then hit the hay.
I was up at 6 am but didn't get out of bed til 7. I just listened to everyone around me and planned for the day. Got up and dressed in my stockings, chemise, and bloomers then headed up to site. I got there and Laura was there with my remade dress. Yeah she rocks! I was dressed by 8:45(Which NEVER happens!) The yard was set up and everyone just jumped in to the day. We did so much. Jezebel looked great in her new courtesan's dress! Gordan tea was fun as usual and no spoons any more!Yeah! I got Poeso dressed in Italians and she made many people go "Who's that? And can we keep her around?" My response was "She looks great, but she can only visit. We can't steal every one we want. If we did that, we would have no one to play with in other groups!" She was so cool and we even married her off! She played so well with us. We need to come up with more gigs, Poeso! Of course in the process of having her married, I was "proposed" to! I was told I turned as bright red as my dress! I was very flattered but oh so surprised! It was a fun gig. Then it was off to change and have food and Karaoke in the yard. It was okay other than realizing I should not wear a mini shirt and fish nets around your drunk girlfriends who are willing to play grab ass when they drink! It was cute the first few times, but it was a little annoying after the 15th time! Of course I love her and all, but really! Any who, karaoke was shut down at 11 because of noise complaints. Oh well. Then I crashed. It had been a long day.
Sunday was up at 7 and out to site by 730am(Why was I up so early?) Sage gave a moving and very wonderful homily. I appreciated it and hopefully everyone got some thing from it. There was letter writing and silliness abound. At ladies Lunch, we had a brawl over Capitano Luigi and just tons of fun. I had a long day and then tear down went fairly smoothly. We all went to In and Out Burger and Julia got picked up safely! I love her! She is very cool. Keshian drove me home and I crashed. It was a great weekend.
