Okay so when last we left our heroine, she was 35 and moving back to Livermore and such...
HI! My birthday ROCKED! I am so fortunate to have all of you as friends. I had breakfast with a good man, lunch with my mother, and saw the Bare Naked Ladies! They had the Piedmont Children's Choir with them! They sang a bunch of holiday songs as well as some of their old and new stuff. Steven Paige has put out his own album! So want that! It was a terrific show. Thank you!!!
I am officially out of the place in Oakland and have give up my keys! I now am only responsible for bills in one location. Yeah!
I have almost all my cards sent out and am close to being done with the little shopping I can afford to do. I have one more weekend of Dickens and TWO windows to do, one on each day. I am going to Gaskell's and then over to a friend's for their birthday (They don't do Gaskell's... not their thing which is okay!).
The school party went pretty well. Almost all the families came! Then the all staff party was pretty good. We were at Cattleman's for lunch! Top Sirloin is yummy! One of the centers made up a new words for Santa Claus is coming to town, "Licensing Is Coming today!" Funny. I will try to get the words.
And last but not least, my best male friend from high school may come visit! I can't wait. He is always a blast and he is going to take me to Skates in Berkeley for my birthday, like he did when I turned 18! I guess that means I get the new Depeche Mode CD as well....Hmmmm I hope the evening ends differently than that one did.... ;)It has to, as we are ever so much older...:P
I am off to try to finish my cards and see what else must be done for this weekend. My family is coming to Dickens on Sunday! Hee hee... I have the best life and I get to share it with some wonderful people!
