rosered32: (me as Francine!)
Hi!
I am at work at my new desk and using my company computer, listening to di.fm, and typing this! I have been here all week and loving my new job! I have had to help out in the class rooms a bit, but I have been getting all the forms and documents ready for the following week. I am going to be running a parent meeting on Tues. and meeting the teen moms at Horizon on Monday! I am looking forward to all of this. Also I am going to be recording with the Carolers a CD! That is so awesome!

Tomorrow is 12th Night with the SCA and Steven is part of the Queen's Guard and is his Princess's Champion of Fencing! It is cool! I am looking forward to the event. I had fun last year and I hope to catch the Latta's singing this year.

I saw Lestat in the city on Wed. It was okay. I had hoped it would be better, but it wasn't bad. I guess it would have been better as just a play than musical. I think it is more about the subject matter. Not great for a musical. Visually it was terrific however. I really liked what they did with the sets and such. But that is all I can say without giving away anything. If you see it, you tell me what you think. Or email me and I will tell you what I thought so as not to spoil it for some one who doesn't want to know.

What else is up? A bunch, but mainly work related. I am enjoying my job and really looking forward to it's new challenges!

Well I am out to drop my immunization postcards in the mail. Have a great weekend.

I'm so glad that you are enjoying your new job. It's always a little nervewracking, but it sounds like you have all in hand.

I agree with you on the Lestat thing. I can almost say that Cruise did a better job, and that just HORRIFIES me.

12th night

Okay... so what do you like about it? I don't know. And I went to a 12 night celebration/ desending and ascending of kings and queens with the SCA. So give me more details please.

one of my favorite shakespeare works. that, and as you like it are probably my two favorites. my biggest like of 12th night is probably just the comedy of errors, and the fact that based on his other works, you can see that in 12th night, a lot of errors in continuity he made while writing, instead of correcting them, he just took it and ran.

sca rocks by the way. not a part of it, but every so often i get info on a re-enactment of some sort they are doing , or a battle to be fought, and go check it out.

also, a year late, but i posted gingerbread pictures this year. you asked for them last year.
