So life is going along pretty well.
Fair was great. Saturday, I got asked to have lunch with the Mayor of Pittsburgh and the Queen's court. However I was late due to me trying to make sure our luncheon went as it should. I did however bring entertainment with me to make up for it. I love my little poetry book that aids all who use it. Then I had a great ladies meeting and made some good progress I hope. I think that I am becoming too catty about costuming though. Some one made stuff that the concept was great but some of the follow thur didn't work. Oh well, it will all be fixed later I hope. Then Sunday, we began the day with Sunday services that made the nobles in velvet squirm. I knew that the point wasn't to do that but it was amusing listening to some wonder if the Padre was jibbing at them. He wasn't and I think he might want to keep in mind that not many of them remember he does his research and is just gigging. Then I started the guild on the quest that our GM challenged us to which was to steal items from other noble from other guilds that were on their person without them noticing. I kicked it off with stealing lady Gordon's fork but got out done by Perry with a ring from the assistant guild mistress of St. Andrew's and Padre who stole the Queen's Rosary off her person. It would have appeared he had won when Don Francesco(who had been gone for so long) and
loneromeo came back with the assistant guild mistress herself! It was great! Also the ladies had been writing love letters to Lady Gordon and signing them "A secret admirer." She thought it was an Italian until I said we should confuse her with using other languages like Spanish, Latin and German. It was great! Leslie got the man in the Ottoman traders Guild who is Asian to give it to her and say something to her in Chinese I believe it was. It was a blast. The guild is shaping up to a great group that works together but is also has may different clicks. We rock!
As for my life it is going okay. I will have my car back in a few days(I hope) but I still need to get insurance, and registration updated before i can drive it. Then I also have to see if I can keep it as the lease is up. I am not sure what is going to happen then. My father has said every other month for the last 3 years, "I'll buy it out." only to tell me the following month that no, he can't. I just am ready to move on but I love my little car so....we shall see.
I am doing okay with my job. I am getting ready to start a two week training for my job, but am still waiting to hear if I get considered for a new position I applied for. It would be more money (yeah) but I need to have my car. Who knows. Wish me luck.
Also one of my LJ friends is showing his short film at the Grand Lake Theater in Oakland. Read on:
