1) Where did you graduate from and what year?
In 1988 from Skyline High in Oakland, CA

2)Did you have school pride?
Not really... I wore red back then because I looked good in it... It just happened to be one of our school colors.

3) Was ur Prom a night to remember?
Not really. I went with a friend instead of the guy I liked(Issues!) and it was okay. Fun but not remarkable.

4) What was ur fav. song you danced to the night of homecoming?
Homecoming? I didn't go to homecoming... No school spirit, remember.

5) Do you own all 4 Yearbooks?
I went to a 3 year school so all 3, yes.

6) Do you remember the First CD you ever bought?
I think it was a Wham CD but I don't recall. The first I was given was Heart's Bad Animals.

7)What was your favorite Movie in High School?
The Princess Bride and the first non edited Star Wars movie(we had it on Laser disc!)


8) What was your number 1 choice of College in HS?
My choice was Sarah Lawerance, my parents choice was Merritt Junior College then a 4 year state school. I ended up going to Merritt then to CSU Sacramento where I graduated with a BA in Communication Studies.

9) What radio station did you jam out to in high school?
Live 105 with Alex Bennett in the mornings!

10) Were you involved in any organizations or clubs?
I was in the German Club(secretary!) and the Student Action Team which talked about anti-drugs and such.

11)What was ur fav class in High School?
I believe it would be English then Economics. I love to read and the teacher in Econ. was great.


12) Who was your big crush in Highschool?
My Biggest was Rob Renzuli. He had such beautiful eyes and was a senior when I was a sophomore. So sappy! My second was the Tims, there were two guys name Tim .. long story, but let's just say I dated them at different times and am still in touch with them to this day.

13) Would you say you've changed a lot since high school?
Yes and no. I am not as naive(okay may be a little closer than I admit to!), but I am still as friendly and talkative as ever.

14) What do you miss the most about it?
My friends and the time we spent together. I miss them sometimes.

15) Your worst memory of HS?
Worst? Well I guess it would be having the "love of my life" tell me he was going to go out with this other girl and me being floored. I slapped him in front of all our friends and stormed off...Only to be told by my mother he had just spent the last hour telling her he was not good enough for me but loved me more than he could ever tell me. Yeah... we are still friends to this day and he was here in May for his 35 birthday!

16) Did you have a car?
Pfft.

17) What were your school colors?
Red and white

18) Who were your fav. teachers?
Mr. Mel and Mr. Gade!Oh and Mr. Campbell!

19) Did you own a cell phone in highschool?
HAHAHAHAH! They were not around. HEEEEEHEEEEEE....

20) Did you leave campus for lunch?
Senior Year I did, but I also had a class off campus at the local JC.

Skyline Market... it is now a retirment village... yeah.

22) Were you always late to class?
Nope.

23) Did you ever have to stay for Sat. School?
Didn't exist at my school.

24) Did you ever Ditch?
Not often enough!

25) When it comes time for the reunion will you be there?
I was thinking about the 20 year one... may be. The 10 year one I misses as I was working. Oh well..

A real update.....

So I am home after a long day of wedding coordinating and bridal party wrangling and then dinner with the folks.(Yep Mom and Dad in the same house on the same coast!)

I was up and at BART waiting for my ride to SF and then it was off to the cruise ship to check in and get ready for the two wedding that took place today. I had the Moore/Hastings wedding. They were such a cute couple. Amy and Freedom... Yup, Freedom. He was so sweet and she had tons of family and friends. They were such fun. I could get catty here and explain about the mother of the groom and say that an older woman should not have her hair done in the braids and lattice work hair styles that the younger set is wearing, or that a night dress is not wedding dress attire or that gold la-mae shoes and a gold sequined bag do have to at least be the same shade of gold to work together or that all of this topped by a fake fur coat is not okay.. but not my wedding and not my mother!(Her name was Babette.. no I am not kidding!)The happy couple also had 17 sailing guests and 4 of then were her parents(mom and stepdad and dad and step mom!)I could not go on my honey moon with my parents.They are nice, but it is my honeymoon and on a ship, you can't get off! But again not my wedding.


My folks were great. I haven't seen mom in a year and she looked good. She of course teased me about not sending her Dickens Pics from last year... ooops. Oh well she can see me this year. Yep she is going to come out. I will probably introduce her to all of the friends there. You poor things! I am kidding. She loves Dickens. And my brother is coming out on the 19th. Yeah! I can't wait to see him.

What else? Saw Narnia.. WOW. Yeah it was amazing. I loved it. I almost cried, but remembered the story and the cartoon and was prepared. It was well done I believe. I say go see it if you are even thinking of going. So worth the money.

Well I am off to get ready to go to Dickens tomorrow. I hope I can sing... we shall see.
