Okay here it comes....
May. 4th, 2006 03:54 pmSo I work with teen mothers and families where unwanted/unplanned pregnancies can be an issue. I am posting this article with two views in my mind. 1) It is cool to me to have a 24 hour waiting period for abortions, BUT 2)I think it is not okay to provide ANTI-Choice legislation to hurt women's rights! I mean passing measures so pharmacists can not be sued if they refuse to fill contraception and emergency contraception prescriptions? That is not okay! Why do these women and men have to fight to have consensual sexual relations when if you give the prescriptions they are less likely to go for abortions as they prevented getting to that point in the first place?????Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe everyone can have an opinion, but when it is trying to stop some thing that isn't an issue yet.... well hello? You don't want abortions then don't stop prevention of pregnancies!!!!!!!
