So I am gearing up for the trip to GA tonight. I am a little nervous as I haven't seen my family in a few months to say the least. I saw my sister on Father's day however and my mother at Christmas time, but i haven't seen my aunts and uncle for at least a year if not more. I have changed a little I hope! I know things in my life have changed. I am living back in Livermore, I have two great housemates, a cute man I am interested in, a good job (but for a few issues) and a car that needs a good washing! Life is looking better than I thought it would, all be it different than the last time I saw my favorite Aunt.
I am also going to a Family Reunion with people I never really knew. I last saw these people when I was 14. I am 36 so...22 years ago! And I am so different than them. I mean I am not having babies with any cousins(I am joking I hope!), and I do Renaissance Faires and Dickens faires.(What is that?) I have pictures, true. We will see. I am just worrying over nothing really. The best part will be seeing my aunts and mom and sister. My uncle is okay, but it more about the ladies getting together, especially the 3 sisters(My mom and her sisters). It is a rare occurrence. And we may get to see my Nana Lois(my grandma's sister) and I am sure I will come back saying Ya'll more and having a hint of the southern accent I some times get when I spend to much time with my auntie. If I do, just smile and nod and remind me that "The Beer Is In The Truck". Wait that might not work... that sounds even as I TYPE it like a southern accent! I know, ask me where my dice and RPG books have gone! Geekiness should help! Or ask me about my NE Hunter. Ugh...
Okay off to pretend to get work done today. And if you have myspace, don't read my post today as you are reading it now!
