My weekend

While all of my Fair Friends were at Pittsburg, I was home recovering. I am glad I did, but I missed hearing a Singing Mermaid! Oh well I hope the Mermaid comes back another time!

I did go to cheer on The Man as he helped The Punning Pundit move back! I also chatted with Sami406 which was cool. Then came home to rest while therealluthian had his 25 b-day party, which seemed to go very well. Yeah and I hope everyone had a good time.

Sunday I went with The Man to help his sister move to her new place. It was a lot of clothes and shoes! Truly amazing to me. Then it was home to sleep and relax.

Today was work as a teacher in the morning and be a family advocate in the afternoon. Go me! All week my mornings will consist of teaching and then my real job after 1:30. Next week is all staff training and getting ready for home visits with the new students. I am looking forward to that.

Kailara and Poeso, can we get pictures of your new dresses? Would love to see what loneromeo created!

Well off to see if The Man got my "new to me" desktop up and running and then tomorrow baby sit so on Wed we can take therealluthian out for his actual b-day!

As soon as I find out who has photos available, I'll post something...and if you're going to be at Golden Gate you'll get to see them in person since we're both planning to be there Saturday. Poe might even have her overdress by then, if Romeo has time.

You know, I haven't eve got a clue if photos were taken... Oh wait Kailara has a card of a gentleman who took a photo of us maybe she can score a pic.
Besides that, you may need to wait until GG. I was invited into the inner sanctum of the Santa Maria Ladies - no kidding. Intimidating at first but very cool I must say!

It is because you are a very wonderful lady. They/We just take a little time to warm up to people. You have to give them/us time. You are some one who is not stupid or who will bring drama. They needed to see that, and apparently they did! Rock on!
