Updating and up late....

Dec has been crazy for me. I am finally able to relax. I worked at 3 different schools in two weeks which isn't bad, but 3 in one day was insane! I was glad of the two weeks off. I hope when I get back I have a position at one school as I hate being a floater as nice as it is to see how all the different schools are run and all the different kids. I love what I do, just would like a place to call home if you will.

I had a pretty good birthday. Thanks Suzanna for the Announcement! I went to dinner with my mate then to the cafe then to have pie with a couple I don't see as often as I would like. Also went to the cool Asian store in town and chatted with the couple who run it. They are great. Go to the Bamboo Wall on 1ST if you live in Livermore. It is terrific.

I got to see Trundle when he was here which was great. He seemed good. I hope he truly is as good as he seemed. I really miss him.

Saw Two Towers! EVERYONE SHOULD GO TO SEE THIS MOVIE! It was awesome. I can't wait til the next one. Also saw Two Weeks Notice with Perry. It was sweet and Funny. Hugh Grant is a kick in the pants. He is a modern Cary Grant. Yes it is a date movie but it is a bit more original than the plot of Maid in America(such a boring plot! and how old is it? Come on People, demand more!) Today I went with tink and tandtcircus to see The Lion King on the IMAX. Very cool. And found out they are releasing Aladdin in Dec of 2003 on IMAX. Spiffy!

SO Yule was crazy. I went Dickens Faire in SF and had a blast! Saw a bunch of people I like and some I don't but hey... I saw Rory(sp) as the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance and loved it! Next year may be I'll try out for Ruth. May be.... Danced a waltz and forgot how dizzy I get. Almost fell down. Nick is too cool and very nice to understand I had to stop! I really need to practice! It has been too long .... Then Perry and I went to Michael and Anna's to say hi and then I was supposed to go to a Yule party. Well we ended up staying at M&A's til 1 AM and I was so tired i didn't get to the other party. I was dead.

Christmas was good. I went to mate's parents home as mine live on the east coast and that just wasn't happening. They were so great to me. I just love them most days. The mate made my day by giving me InTo The Woods (a book about the play) and it was cool. I love that play. It is one of my faves. Then on Friday I got to see my sister. I haven't seen her in months as our work schedules conflict so much. We chatted about life and such and she loved the frog socks! She has a big frog fetish. Any who she gave me a mix CD of music we grew up with and songs by our brother. It is one of the best gifts I ever got from my family of birth. I have missed her. Then we came home to my mate and one of his oldest friends. The four of us talked for so long that at 1AM we realized what time it was and all went to bed at our respective homes.

Sat. I went to Leslie's and we fabric shopped. I have changed my new faire costume idea yet again. It will be great once I settle on something! I am pretty sure of what I am doing now however. Yeah! So today I am hanging out with Tink and having a good night.
Well it is time to go... Sleep well all. Hope your holiday was okay even if it wasn't what you may have really wanted.
