Your Blogging Type Is Thoughtful and Considerate

You're a well liked, though underrated, blogger.

You have a heart of gold and are likely to blog for a cause.

You're a peaceful blogger - no drama for you!

A good listener and friend, you tend to leave thoughtful comments for others.

It is odd. Today my sweetie commented that he wonders who actually reads his posts as he gets very few comments compared to others we know. I told him it shouldn't matter. I post for me and if you all want to read it, I know you do. I am well aware that some of you DON'T bother reading what I post. It is your choice. And while some times it hurts to know I am passed over for other more"Shiny" people, this is not a place I expect people to respond to me. If you have time or want to comment on what I post, I expect you will. If you just read it and move on, that is cool too. This is a place to put down thoughts and share info on what is new and exciting in Sallyland. Sure I would love to get as many comments as some of my friends do, but I don't always post stuff that requires responses.

The point here is thanks for reading and know that while I may not always post a comment every time you make a post, I do read them all.

Hugs.

I read most of the posts that come through my F-list. There are days I skim more than read, and days I skip over folks I don't see often, but generally, everything gets read...

as to what gets commented on - there I'm more mercurial. Often comments are the result of a knee jerk reaction to the post (like this one is) and are dependent on mood at the time and motivation to write something...even a sentence or two.

I've noticed that while there's no real rhyme or reason to which of my posts draw the most comments, it seems like the short, humor oriented ones are often the ones that get comments...unless two people start a conversation somehow and then things just snow ball.

That is my point exactly.

We all may not always leave a comment, we do read each other.

And true, humorous posts generally get more comments.

And snowballs will happen... it was just thoughts I had to share.

Thanks!

I don't know. I think that if I try hard enough I can make at least one snow ball.

If you start packing shaved ice from the freezer into a throwable form, I'm running...fast!
