When you love someone and they say they love you and that you are important to them, then they run around all night talking to some one they say interest them in only the intellectual(sp) way, it makes you wonder why are you around. I really care about my mate, but I see him chasing a person who is leaving to start a new life in another country and I just want to ask why? Yes you both have similar childhoods, yes you both read classic lit., but there is more in life than these things. Yes I am sure that I am insane(Stop it Booda!) but how do I tell him that he is important to me and I want him to be happy when he isn't around often enough or awake enough when I am.
Also yes she is a pretentious(sp) pain about some things, and can be a Bitch about how people aren't as educated as her! I have been luck enough not to be at the end of her remarks, but others have. I just want to say there is more to life than books!!!!!!!! Or Greek or Latin or Myths and I know I will get look at like how dare I say such a thing! Look around, there is classic lit. every where! So it isn't the only thing in the world. And some things are great just because they are! Madonna isn't the greatest human in the world but give her credit for what she is, a great pop star who can change with the times. Our world isn't still in these times because it has changed. Yes some of it isn't for the best but it sin't always horrible.
I realize that I may not say much and I should more often, but at least I am not rude about other people's lack of knowledge about classic or things I find important. I generally begin to feel old but I realize I don't know all about vidoe/computer games, or great chiefs, or UNIX, or other such issues. I just know what I know and other people know what they know... if I can share with them, I will. If they make a mistake, I ask them what they mean and if it is wrong I try to correct it, but I don't kill them with rudeness. I don't make fun of them unless they aren't willing to except that they my not have all the info and are unwilling to except a different view could exisist. I just don't understand people.
If some one understands people better, please tell me.
