We were running around two days before to make sure everything was in place so Drew could pick up the last bits as I had to work both Monday and Tuesday.

Drew picked up his kilt on Monday and paid for the rental stuff. Then we went to dinner with our families, including my Aunt Melissa from Forks, WA(of Twilight fame) and my Uncle Phil from TX. Anastasia joined us and got to meet all our families. We talked about the last minute details like a program and the music and everything being ready before the actual event. Uncle Phil came to the house after and gave me even more stitching stuff from my Aunt's sewing room and then gifted me with her two rings she never took off. I did my best not to cry.

Tuesday I worked until 3:30 but then worked on the program and time line for how the events would go while being sent texts from my mom and Drew about all the little things like, where was the lady from the church and how to get a hold of her? Where was the flower market? How much did we owe them? When would I get done? What time was the rentals supposed to be at the church(They came early then had to come back as we were not in the church yet). By the time I left work and was on BART, I was under the impression that there would be so much left to do and would we be ready for Wednesday?

Little did I know. I got picked up with my good friend from high school, Mabel, and we headed to the church. I walked in to the room being completely done. I almost cried. Seriously. Drew's mom, my mom, Darne, Drew, Anthony, Julie, Aunt Melissa and Booda(Music man himself) had made the church glorious. I was overwhelmed by all their work and how beautiful it was. The tables were ready, the center pieces set and all that was left was the gift table and the signing frame. It was so wonderful.

We then went to dinner with the helpers that wanted to at Empire Buffet. Yummy. Then headed home to finish up the programs and get them printed as well as make the corsages, boutonnieres and my bouquet. Mabel had volunteered to make them and she was amazing. I love that woman. She of course reminded me of the last time I had done this and how this time seemed so much better(I hope so!). We took her home and Drew picked up the programs from Luth and we crashed by 1 am.

Waking up next to Drew that morning was comforting, but we needed to get a move on as we a few last minute things to do. We got the men moving and filled the car with flowers, alter stuff and Anthony(Thanks Anthony!) and headed to the church. We set the last minute stuff and then it was time to get ready.

Anuja's mother, Darshana, was amazing. She dressed my mom, Drew's mom, Drew's sister Katie, Julie and Darne as well as myself all by 10 am.(945 actually!) We all looked lovely(But forgot to get a full group shot...oh well). Erica did my hair with cream roses and then it was time. I walked in to all the people lining the walk way to the grassy area we were marrying in. We had to encourage everyone to get closer, but it was great. We were not super serious and it was definately OUR ceremony. We giggled, we laughed and we even cried. When it was over, we kissed and I nearly melted. My husband. WOW.

The pictures and more pictures and more pictures. Then heading in to the wedding we received a standing ovation much to our great joy from all that were able to attend. That was the best. Our friends were there to celebrate with us.(THANK YOU ALL WHO COULD MAKE IT AND ALL WHO WISHED US WELL EVEN IF YOU COULDN'T BE THERE.) We then walked around saying hi and chatting and seeing babies and just happy to see everyone.

There was toasting which went well. My sister found out that she was in a room full of like minded individuals (Live long and prosper... little did she know!) and we had some lovely words spoken to us and about us. For that, we are grateful. You all have helped make this day happen and it would not have been the same without you there.

We did not do all the traditional stuff, like cake eating, bouquet tossing, and such. We did have a dance after most everyone left as there just wasn't room for it before then. "I believe" by Stevie Wonder in case you wanted to know. The wedding had Dr. Horrible as well as "Mrs.Robinson" played and we even got RickRolled!

After we went home and crashed. Sorry no hotel things. We were just to tired by that point. We did snuggle though.

We woke up at 8:30 and got dressed to go to the "Swinger's" New Year's Eve bash where everyone was dressed to the nines! It was fab. I rang in the New Year with my new husband and a house full of beautiful friends.

The next day I woke up in my husband's arms and the world felt right. This is a awesome club I just joined. ;D

And now it is day 3 of the honeymoon and we have gone to the Secret Stash, where he asked me to marry him, Grandpa favorite resturant and tonight we dine with the "whole" family from this coast. Tomorrow is NYC and maybe a show. Tuesday is more of the same. Then Wednesday we head back home and Thursday is back to work.

Pictures will be shown soon.

HUGS and here is to a fabulous 2009!

Tim and I are so happy for you both. We want you both to remember that the wedding is just a day, the marriage is a life-time. It's hard work, intense, and sometimes monotonous...but every day I wake up in love and feel very blessed to be with my husband. I wish you both the same.
