Hello!
As some of you know today my wonderful husband got laid off. Yep. Went to work got coffee, had a meeting scheduled and then got told after 5 years he was done. Which was very surprising as yesterday my company laid off 3 of the 6 employees it had and we are in re-org for our company focus. I thankfully am still employed, however my position has changed. I am still working on the details of this so for now I am still office manager and wholesale coordinator, but I am now also shipping clerk and Gal-Friday and all that that may be. We are still selling products but mostly our Blowfish DVDs and producing DVDs and film festivals. So if you ever wanted something from Blowfish, keep checking the site for discounts. There may be more coming up. I am still not sure what will be happening with that part of the business.
So that is work life.
On the Family front, my Grandfather who will be 90 on July 22, is currentl;y in the hospital due to having fallen and hurt himself again which he had done 2 months ago. Grandma is having my mom help her right now and Grandpa will have to go to a rehab facility to get physical theropy be fore he can come home, if he gets to come home. I am in a haze about this as these are the people I spent every summer with from age 6-10. They still live in the same house as when my dad was little. But we are going to see them in July for the family reunion and my cousin's wedding. We already have the tickets and we are staying with my cousin so no hotel costs at least. Still need a dress, but I will see if I can get away with one I already have.
I am still in shock for all of this. I can't say this is bad, but it is more the unknown that is the issue. It wil work out. I know it.
Okay off to read the internets and then sleep and go to bed and back to work in the AM. Yeah...Breath, just breath.
