So Let's see... I went to see Once Upon A Time In New Jersey at LPC and it was sweet and I loved the way the preformers tried and most suceeded to do the Jersey accent. I felt like I was home. The play was a sweet love story and the music was good, but it was a story that has been told before. The cast did a great job and my friend Jen looks great as a red head!
Next, First Faire of the season is coming up and I am being elevated, with Heather, to 3rd level of the ladies order in our first ever public ceremony. I am pretty excited about it. I hope all of you who read this and are in the area can come. It is on April 24 in Visaila, CA at the Ren. Faire down there. I have a new silk dress being finished as we speak and I can't wait. I was surprised and am grateful that some one felt I was deserving of this honor. It means a lot to me to be recognized in this manner. Also I have been given new responsibilities for the household. I am "In Charge" of the running of the household on stage. I will be asking for as much in put as I can get but I do have some ideas I really hope we get to do. I will be chatting with the big guys after Visailia as I will have a better frame of reference for what we as a groupo can do and what we have as our yard and such. I am so excited.
Well I am off to do laundry and finish a doublet for a friend. Never believe beading is easy.

Date: 2004-04-09 12:53 am (UTC)From:funny , i looked up the lpc production and i recognized the director's name. i'm positive he and i did a show together once a zillion years ago (okay, maybe 10 or 15), but i can't for the life of me remember what it was. it's gonna drive me crazy all night, i can feel it :)
