So I am hours way from leaving for Pittsburg Faire. I am pretty ready I think. I have everything packed and ready to go. I am supossed to be publicly elveated within my guild this weekend(I know, Youall are saying"You keep saying that and then nothing.") but htis time it is happening! I have their word. So I will post a pic or two some time next week. I am pretty excited. Other than that Adam is being Knighted on Sunday and I get to help with that. I am really happy for him. He has tried and worked and I am glad they are acknowledging this.

As for work, I am changing school with in my company. I will be at Leahy(I think it is spelled that way.) and my hours will be consistant! Yeah! Of course it doesn't mean more money, but I don't have to worry about some of the crazy co-workers any more. What I would really like now is an office job, but I don't have enough computer skills for that. Oh well. I am excited about working with new staff and having a new site and such.

I finally have a home phone. SBC had to come to the building(Like I had told them) and mess around with the internal box in the apartment, but it works!!! Yeah. I now don't have to depend on my cell for everything.

So I am also preparing for a wedding in Oct. My step sister is getting married and I don't have a dress. I need to either make on or buy one. I am leaning towards making one just to see if I can. I have never made one befoe, so ... we shall see. Her invitations were hand painted and calligraphied. A pretty penny is being spent on this event(and it is an EVENT) and I know it only happens once(generally) but I just think some times it is a waste of money. It will be one of the loveliest weddings I have ever been to, but still. I just don't get it. I guess I am a simple girl with simple tastes. Give me a rose garden and a spring day and we'll talk. A nice dinner would be good as well, but I don't need a 5 course meal and such. Unless I could get the Cinderella carriage at Disney and the castle, then well may be super expensive is okay.
