So the other day a friend asked:
What is the most romantic song ever invented in life?

I don't mean "which Carpenters song makes you gag most?" Rather, which song means love to you? What little piece of music is intimately wrapped up in your heart?

Now I answered this with “More Than Words” by Extreme. And I know some people posted classics like “At Last” and Beethoven as their choice, and I love those some as well. They makes my heart skip, but “More Than Words” hits home to me not because of the music but the actual words. It states that love is more than just words we say to each other to reassure but it is also our actions. Even if you say to some one “I love you” but your actions are less than loving, it doesn’t matter what you say. “I love you” is wonderful to hear, don’t get me wrong, but when one’s actions show that love, it makes the words mean more and not needing to be said as often. And some times people can’t say how they feel due to upbringing, fear or whatever, but if their actions show their true heart, that can mean so much more. I have the problem of saying “I love you” very often because I didn’t hear it often in my upbringing and I needed to, I guess. Also I didn’t get to say it to some one who passed away. I know they knew how I felt as we spent time together, shared silliness, and other things, but I always feel I need to not just show it, but say it. It is one of my quirks, and yet I love a song that says the opposite. Go figure.

And of course here are the words:
