The Lovers often refers to a relationship that is based on deep love - the strongest force of all. The relationship may not be sexual, although it often is or could be. More generally, the Lovers can represent the attractive force that draws any two entities together in a relationship - whether people, ideas, events, movements or groups. Date: 2005-07-01 05:21 am (UTC)From:As for your own Tarot Deck with your characters, that sounds sweet! Let me know where it goes. I have some friends who review cards and such, may be they can give you some pointers as you go along.

Date: 2005-07-01 05:56 am (UTC)From:We tried the whole babes in bodices angle. He's just not buying it. Maybe he has just had a lot of bitter disappointment in life and refuses to believe that any place so wonderful could actually exist? I figure we manage to get him in the middle of one good Celtic Sisterhood he'll never want to miss another Fest weekend, but we've got to get him to take the bait first!
I've never actually handled a tarot deck, but years of being around people who do has given me a good idea of the general idea behind all the major arcana. I think it's kind of interesting that I've got so many characters who fill the archetypes so well without ever intending it. Only problem is when I've got one character who would be good for more than one card. I'm trying to keep it to the one character per card idea since I've got so many characters and they're all so interesting (at least to me.) Anyway, I should probably actually get the book published before I start crafting all sorts of clever sideline merchandiese, shouldn't I?

Date: 2005-07-01 07:13 am (UTC)From:As for Megiloth, have you shown him pictures? He would have a blast if nothing else with the swords and beer! Of course if I come that way I WILL drag him out. Why? Because it would be fun and he will find a ton of B.D.R. hee hee!( you two and your redheads!)
