rosered32 | Finally.. The Birthday!

Well I knew some thing was in the works for my 37th. I got the day off and planned to help clean up so The Man could do whatever he had planned. Then the Monday of that week I was asked to come to the parent meeting as the last one only had 3 parents attend. So I said ONLY the meeting okay! And every one at work said okay. So I got up with the Man and blaze came over and we got breakfast then went grocery shopping. Then Blaze took a nap while The Man and I rearranged the living room and made it better for a party. The new vacuum works wonderfully also! Then it was off the parent meeting. The Guest Speaker didn't come, but there were 18 parents! It was very well. Then I headed home to see that there were Christmas lights around my front porch! He put up lights for me! Then I go in to find him prepping food to cook and that I was to go upstairs and get my massage I had put off this morning. After a lovely rub down from Blaze(You rock lady BTW!) I went down stairs to the lovely smells of bacon, mint peas and pasta sauces! He cooked everything! Then people began to arrive...

First was Clang and Poeso, then Gwen Rose and cheese cakes! Followed by Rellie and Greg. Also Snoopy, Lady J, Andrewcory, Perversedmind, Sherit, Mr and Mrs R, Anastasia, AdmiralOrko, Misfish, and Thumper. Also many well wishers called and texted! I know that some had other plans as my birthday is in the worst and best month ever, but know that even though you were not able to come you were thought of!(Hope you feel better Lady M!) Also my mother and fathers called to send warm wishes and let me know Mom would be home for the holidays! Yeah!
We ate and visited and chatted and watched a few minutes of coupling, and ate some more.
I wish to thank all of you who made my day so special! You are all wonderful and I hope you know how special you made this day.

And Thank you to The Man for giving me such a lovely day! You are the best and I am grateful to have you in my life.

PS I also got to finally read LJ tonight and thank you for all the lovely well wishes from all of you!
