Today's Card: Five of Cups
This card has a sad appearance. In this card the man is standing by
the river looking very dejected and tired at the three cups spilled in
front of him. He's so caught up in these emotions of loss and defeat
that he is unable to turn around and see what is right behind him.
Behind him just a bit down the path lie 2 full cups and of course the
entire river ;). This card reminds us that sometimes when our mind is
full of all we "think" we want or need, or when we become stuck in
regrets over the past etc. We are unable to turn around and see the
opportunities that lie before us.
We have a choice, we can remain stuck in sorrow or regret etc. or we
can choose to make the most of new opportunities. If you feel held
back by something, this card reminds you to make a choice to start
fresh today, making the most of opportunities available on your new
path. This card tells us that an open mind leads to many pleasant
surprises and opportunities.
And so it goes. I am back from TX and have been going ever since I got home. Work was bsuy and babysitting on Tuesday. Last evening, was a nice dinner cooked for me by The man and we cuddled and talked and such. It was very nice! I truly enjoyed my evening in. We had invited people to come over, but they all said "Don't you want to spend alone time?" Both of us said "We invited you so... we like spending time with all the people we love. Besides, we didn't need Valentine's Day to remind us of how much 2we love each other!" But we still got to spend alone time and chat about life as it is and such. It was very relaxing to know that the person you love is on the same page as you and you are both interested in working toward common goals and there is no hidden agenda about how some one else believes your lives should be. It is nice to know we are really geling if you will.
Okay off to a parent meeting and making the world better for families!
