Okay well, Faire.. I had fun and there was great activity in our yard. We had people giving tours and playing games with patrons and members alike. We looked good in progress and the shooters did great. Padre Vito was knighted on Sunday and his parents came and had fun. The ladies did several elevations Sat. night and there will be a public elevation at Fair Oaks(Please come if you can). The guild really pulled off a great faire.
The not so good points were:
-Heather and I didn't get public elevated as an old member was unable to attend and has the scripts for the public elevations.
-Some of the guests were complaining about not getting food, but were late to call.
-Adam's costume was not done and the seamstress didn't return any one's calls(which was frustrating as she is a good friend and all she has to do was call and say"Hey sorry just not done yet.")
-Perry's priming flask caught on fire, but thankfully he wasn't hurt!
-I had to sleep in my tent alone as my partner claimed the open twin bed in the military pavilion so he wouldn't have to sleep on the ground/tennis court.
-My sleeves don't go around my wrists with all my other layers of clothes.(Wah...)
Other than that everything was terrific. We had new costumes to show off, we had lovely ladies to walk in progress and out shine other courts, we really are meshing well as a group. What can I say? I am a very luck woman to belong to such an awesome guild.
